AVEVA wanted to showcase their connect platform and utilize previously used designs made on their system platform. In this showcase, we had to showcase an overall dashboard that monitored AVEVA client’s sustainable energy plants including solar, wind and green hydrogen. Moreover the dashboard had to be multi-window with predictive analytics and a schematic view of the green hydrogen process.

Industry insights needed to be fresher, cleaner and more detailed in nature while maintaining captivating visuals. 3D visualizations and isometric elements were necessary to create a detailed story. We used many of AVEVA’s pre-existing system platform designs and 3d models, and enhanced the visuals to create visually striking schematics and models.

This interface is currently in development. The most important thing for users was simplicity, with fewer interactions than necessary. Based on user feedback, approximately 85% of users preferred this interface, noting that the look and feel was fresh and aided in the simplicity of use. Interface is undergoing sandboxing and eventually user testing, and was well received at Emirates’ tech town hall.
